Something to ponder....

If Jesus Came Back Today...

Would you have to change your clothes
Before you let Him in?
Or hide some magazines, and put
The Bible where they'd been?

Would you hide your wordly music?
And put some hymm books out?
Could you let Jesus walk right in,
Or would you rush about?

And I wonder...if the Saviour
Spent a day or two with you,
Would you go right on doing
The things you always do?

Would you go right on saying
The things you always say?
Or would life for you continue
As it does from day to day?

Would you take Jesus with you
Everywhere you go?
Or would you change your
Plans for just a day or so?

Would you be glad to have Him
Meet your closest friends?
Or would you hope they stay away
Until His visit ends?

Would you be glad to have Him
Stay forever on and on?
Or would you sigh a great relief
When He at last was gone?

It might be interesting to know,
The things that you would do,
If Jesus came in person,
To spend some time with you.

Exams+Assignments-God=Stress!!!

With 3 midterm examinations kind of consecutively, 6 critique essays to write and other assignments...marking the beginning of sleepless nights..that's enough to bring the big "S" word into my heart and mind!!!! And to make things worse, i just found out today, after the drawing of lots, that i'll be one of the first few presenters for the critique essays- submission on the day of presentation!!!! This means that i will be deprived of about 3 weeks preparation time compared to those who have later presentation slot:(...............

But i shall remind myself that everything happens for a reason.....I realize that if i do not give god the first place in my life, a may not have time for Him at all....and that leads to STRESS!!! When I give Him time before I start my day, things just fall into place...reading the Bible and praying in the morning gives me direction in life...for example:

Ephesians 5:15 says, "Life live with a due sense of responsibilty. Not as those who do not know the meaning of life, but those who do."

This reminds me of my responsibilities as a Christian, a student, a friend, a family member, responsibilty towards my own body and health etc.....It will affect the way I a manage my time....the right amount of time to fulfill each responsibilty and to practice a healthy lifestyle......and all this in turn, helps me eliminate negative stress:)

Thus my new formula : Exams+Assignments+God=:)

Life

Life

Life,
Is like an abstract piece of masterpiece
Sometimes you cannot comprehend it's meaning
And when you think you doThe questions that follow are neverending
But you have to admit that it is great
Turn to the one to whom, you He created
Because God,
He is the artist,
And only HeCan explain the true meaning
Of His wonderful work of art.
