Doggy Dearest
You are the one and only Doggy,Who is always there when I am lonely,
Joyfully accompanying me and lavishing me with love,
Which comes through you from Him above.
Each time you rub your soft,furry coat against my skin,
Your warmth fills my heart within.
The courage you possess and affection you have shown,
Melts my fears, for with you I am never alone.
The wag of your tail and the glow in your eyes,
The way you roll on the green, green grass,
Fills my days with joy and laughter,
As only you can, Doggy dearest,
No other.
